![]() ![]() This marks Petunia's first ever color appearance. In addition, she appeared in the 1972 special Daffy Duck and Porky Pig Meet the Groovie Goolies, voiced by Jane Webb. Voice actors Berneice Hansell, Shirley Reed, June Foray, and Grey DeLisle each performed Petunia's voice in various shorts. As Porky Pig's popularity got eclipsed by brasher and funnier characters such as Daffy Duck and Bugs Bunny in the 1940s, while Porky began starring in fewer solo cartoons, Petunia had been retired from the classic shorts at this time. She appeared in only two Porky cartoons directed by Clampett in 1939, " Porky's Picnic" and " Naughty Neighbors", the latter being her final appearance from the Golden Age of American Animation. Tashlin quickly adopted Petunia as a regular member of Porky's entourage and featured her in two more cartoons: " The Case of the Stuttering Pig" and " Porky's Double Trouble", both in 1937.Īfter Frank Tashlin's first departure from the studio in 1938, Bob Clampett redesigned Petunia to become cuter, similar to how he previously redesigned Porky the previous year. Whereas Mickey Mouse marries his longtime girlfriend Minnie in that film, Porky's overtures toward Petunia bring him only the scornful laughter of his porcine paramour, and instead only dreams of their potential future. The film is a parody of a 1932 Walt Disney cartoon called "Mickey's Nightmare". Petunia was introduced by animator Frank Tashlin in the 1937 short " Porky's Romance". ![]() Petunia's appearance and personality has changed over the years over the course of the late-1930s, evolving from a mean, selfish and snobbish girlfriend of Porky with an unappealingly heavyset appearance in the Frank Tashlin cartoons into the sweet, kind-natured girlfriend of Porky with a cute appearance ever since Bob Clampett retooled the character. She looks much like her boyfriend, Porky Pig, except that she wears a dress and has pigtailed black hair (which she originally did not have). ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() When this Cellar concept was announced months ago, I was optimistic yet nervous. Useless trivia: the cold room housing all kegs is located on the top floor of the Duckworth’s space, with liquid travelling through 180 feet of beer lines to reach the Cellar’s faucets. Beer Club members, leave those cards at home too the powers that be wisely wish to promote the beer selection as a whole, and discourage ordering simply for credit-chasing purposes. Should these coveted beers have been poured upstairs, they’d be ineligible for promotional pricing regardless. While the upstairs offers promotional pricing on most drafts every Monday and Wednesday, don’t expect the same in the Cellar. Currently, the bottle list is over 150 labels strong and growing, and is potent enough to make the most jaded beer geek weep. You’re more than welcome to peruse the eventually-available bottles now on the iPad menus, just beware of that empty ache that results from not being able to enjoy them just yet. The beer engine will be fully operational at the grand opening, but the Cellar’s jaw-dropping bottle selection will debut another month beyond. Sadly, not every facet of the Cellar is completely ready. Don’t get me started on the addictively delectable truffle macaroni and cheese. Roasted oysters get the same treatment and arrive dressed to impress with butter and Pecorino. Steaks are cooked to perfection in a Vulcan broiler at 1800 degrees for a deliciously charred exterior. Of special note are the accoutrements, specifically crostini constructed from spent grain leftover from NoDa Brewery’s beer-making. The Serrano ham melted on my tongue, the Bayley Hazen Blue exhilarated my senses, and the texture of the 26-month-aged Gouda fascinated. Of note are the artisanal cheese and charcuterie selections. “The one pain I have now is I’m running through screens on my smoking gun,” quips bar manager Ron Oleksa. Interesting: the mad scientists behind the bar are shifting away from smoking hickory chips in their delectable Where There’s Smoke peach margarita, and are currently experimenting with whole-leaf hop cones. The iPad menus allow potential imbibers to carefully research their options just clicking a beverage’s name provides a deeper description of the offering. Rotating cocktails are reasonably priced as well, ranging from $11-13 with a majority in the median. I could write an entire column on the one-two punch of the massive 32-ounce Tomahawk rib eye paired to perfection with the Manhattan-inspired cocktail East Village. If not for the drinks menu being on an iPad, one could lose all track of the era. Instead you’ll be bathed in the warm orange glow of Edison-style bulbs, twenty taps pouring nothing but the best craft beer available, and not a single television in sight. Gone are the bright lights, dizzying array of draft options, and small army of televisions. Located underneath the existing Uptown location (330 North Tryon), the Cellar couldn’t be any more different than its upstairs neighbor. This isn’t a hallucination I didn’t fall down the stairs and hit my head on my way to the Cellar, nor did I arrive at the wrong address. After my trip to their newest concept, The Cellar at Duckworth’s, I’m prepared to associate several more words with the Duckworth’s brand: intoxicating ambiance, impeccably crafted cocktails, and delectable small plate dishes. In their turn at the crease, TKR’s lost their openers Sunil Narine (duck) and Tion Webster (five) cheaply. For most craft beer drinkers in Charlotte, mentioning the Duckworth’s brand conjures images of hand-cut fries and Philly cheesesteaks, all topped off with an extensive beer selection. Pakistan's left-handed all-rounder, and eventual Man of the Match Imad Wasim also chipped in with 21 from 12 balls.īowling for TKR, pace bowler Ravi Rampaul (3/40) was a bit expensive but was the leading wicket-taker, while off-spinner Sunil Narine bagged an impressive 2/11 from his four overs. Sent in to bat, the Tallawahs did well to bounce back from a shaky start and put on 153/7 courtesy skipper Rovman Powell (67 from 49 balls) and Raymon Reifer (28 from 26 balls). TRINBAGO KNIGHT Riders’ (TKR) big-hitters delivered another woeful display as Jamaica Tallawahs snagged an important 34-run victory in match 12 of the Hero Caribbean Premier League T20 tournament at the Daren Sammy Cricket Ground in Gros Islet, St Lucia on Saturday. ![]() ![]() Amateur radio operators and net control stations do not have independent authority to declare an emergency. Emergencies are nearly always recognized and declared by agencies or authorities outside of the Amateur Radio Service. "Emergency" may be defined as an accident or other crisis where people and/or property are in distress. ![]() Ham radio operators and nets in emergency situations capture, record, hold, and distribute information so that others may work (produce results) more effectively. "Work" implies that something productive is to be accomplished. "Net" implies a capture and holding effect. The word "network" can be further broken down into it's two components. The word "net" is short for "network." Networks can be defined as groups of equipment, individuals, and/or agencies acting together to increase efficiency and effectiveness through shared information and resources. The greater part of true and artful communication is listening. (How much study did it take for you to get your Extra ticket?) We have to gently educate them as to our capabilities and then carefully listen to them for clues to possible uses of various modes to help solve their communications problems. The idea that hams can serve them with packet, ATV, APRS/GPS, long range HF, CW and VHF/UHF simplex and repeater communications is simply too much technology for most agency personnel to comprehend. ![]() Most people aren't really aware that their cordless or cellular phone, wireless intercom, baby monitor, garage door opener and pager are really radio devices. They are not aware! You should assume that they know nothing about communications beyond their telephone and pager. A problem arises when we assume that they are aware of all the different modes of communications available to them from the amateur radio service. Served agencies know that they need help with communications. but not necessarily what they envisioned, really wanted or needed. We wind up offering and performing services convenient and effective for us. The result is that the service we offer becomes greatly diminished in value to the served agency. We don't seek a deep understanding of what their perceptions really are. We tend to operate within our own perceptions of what we think they want or need. The reason is that we often don't pay enough attention to what the served agency really wants and needs. Served agencies often view Amateur Radio operators as nuisances instead of assistants. We must correct and promote our public image or fade into history. Then we wonder why they don't call us when something happens and why our frequencies are under attack. We simply do not project the "professionalism" that they rightfully expect. Public concensus is, all too often, that amateur radio operators are nothing more than glorified CB'rs. Most of our weather nets and practice drills are poorly done. It is an unfortunate fact that many served agencies and the general public judge our potential performance and relative value as a public service by what they hear via scanner during our weather nets and SET drills. It will, hopefully, spur other writers into continuing the concept. The intent is to begin creating continuity in net operations. #Netcontrol x user manual manual#The purpose of this manual is to begin to identify a base set of information and procedures for use in amateur radio emergency and weather nets.

![]() In that endeavour, the producers of the film can all gather together and declare mission accomplished. Barb Wire‘s main point was to debut a new star to the big screen. But it was never really supposed to, anyway. It’s safe to say that Pamela Anderson’s movie, Barb Wire won’t go down in history with the likes of Gone With The Wind. Sheri Moon Zombie has never been shy in front of the camera, but the way she seamlessly morphs her body around the stripper pole as Michael Meyers’ mom, definitely makes this scene stand out above her others as one of her most memorable, even if you didn’t see (or care to watch) the rest of the movie. But there’s no denying that it is almost too-believable rawness. Sheri Moon Zombie – HalloweenĬonsidering that Rob Zombie’s remake of Halloween didn’t get the greatest of reviews, this strip scene featuring his real-life wife, Sheri Moon Zombie, might have passed right by your radar. This one is a true testament to the philosophy of the sexiness in leaving something to the imagination. It was even referenced numerous times in those viral ice bucket challenge videos. The bucket of water drenching Beals remains a classic scene, relived over and over again in everything from Saturday Night Live skits to the aforementioned film, We’re The Millers. Although it’s rather tame in comparison by today’s standards, this dance was absolutely off-the-charts hot for 1983. Jennifer Beals – FlashdanceĪlthough Jessica Beals doesn’t even take off all of her clothes, this strip scene from Flashdance still undeniably makes the cut. We wonder what Rachel Green would think about the hot striptease- but there’s no doubt that Ross Gellar would enjoy it. At 45 years old, the sexy actress has proven not only that she’s still got it – but that she has it better than she ever did. Even though her dance is chock-full of 80s references and intentional cheesiness, it still doesn’t take away from the undeniable sexiness of Aniston. The first reel, "Caught On Barbed Wire", is placed first for good reason: it is the best of the lot, very well-conceived and well-acted, and rivals anything in the main program for electricity factor.Just because you haven’t gotten the chance to see We’re The Millers yet, that doesn’t mean that you haven’t seen Jennifer Aniston’s steamy striptease in it. There is also DVD bonus material which consists of about 10 vintage reels of little-known or unbilled ecdysiasts. Other criticism is the totally gratuitous inclusion of bondage pin-up girl Bettie Page and the inclusion of a long segment on black ecdysiasts, born more out of a sense of political correctness than germaneness. In the opening monologue, he states that "contrary to popular belief, burlesque striptease artists came in all shapes and sizes." The selection of girls used in this video certainly bears this out! Makes the tagline somewhat vacuous. When a stripper can drive you nuts by baring a little bit of clavicle, that's talent! Interestingly, there is almost no attention paid by the narrator to the use of physique alone as an attraction. The Gypsy Rose Lee clip was an apt and welcome inclusion. I had heard of Miss Rand and her "fan dance" for years but had no idea of how intricate and indeed erotic it was until I saw this high-quality footage here. ![]() That being said, as this video proves, there was certainly a high art in dancers such as Sally Rand, Gypsy Rose Lee, Cherrie Knight and Lilli St. But there were still quite a few excellent girls working the circuit in the 60s, many of which went on to appear in famous "B" or exploitation movies. It is somewhat disappointing that the video leaves off pretty abruptly somewhere in the mid-50s to the early 60s and the narrator speaks openly of the "decline" of stripteasing in the 60s. ![]() Some footage is in color, though most in black and white. Some excellent video footage here, with reasonably good, unobtrusive voice-over commentary. If you are a fan of the more modest striptease which leaves more to the imagination, this video is for you. ![]() ![]()
Bloody dwarf runestone keeper mods#In return, SE requires a bit less stability mods (read - its stability section is shorter than LE one) and so, somewhat less time required for this part. This said, it doesn't mean SE will be crashing hard or something - but with medium-to-heavy modded game, you'll have sometimes have more headache with it. Bloody dwarf runestone keeper mod#This said, SE is somewhat stable in a long-time perspective and when being heavy-modded and (some SE versions of massive mods being ported hastily or not by mod authors themselves which results in more bugs compared to LE versions of the mods, more crash cases generally throughout a game world which appeared in SE and never existed in LE to begin with). Generally, when modded properly and if the stability section of the guide is applied, both Skyrim SE/AE and LE are fully stable - there are no memory related crashes (until you overload your game with ridiculously heavy setup just too heavy for your system ofc, and unlike the popular misconceptions, LE doesn't have memory-related issues as well since late 2016 due to combination of ENBoost and Crash Fixes memory allocation upgrades), engine related crashes are fixed more or less equally too. You may want to understand the practical differences between them and which pros/cons each has: Many players also see the answer a somewhat obvious, but it's not quite like that. You may be asking yourself "which game version should I mod, LE or SE" (I have a complete modding guide for LE separated into graphics and gameplay parts).
